With the possibility of some wintry weather here in Charlotte NC over the next day or so, the media is of course in full “winter storm potential” coverage mode.
The thing is, we don’t really see wintry weather all that often here in Charlotte so when it does (or might) happen, it’s just not an everyday event.

The Queen’s Feast Charlotte Restaurant Week winter 2010 event is quickly approaching! Actually lasting 10 days, the January 2010 Charlotte Restaurant event runs from January 22nd through January 31st.
With over 70 participating Charlotte NC restaurants in areas from Uptown to Ballantyne and Lake Norman, there’s quite a variety of cuisine and location options.

Charlotte NC’s Stonehaven neighborhood’s second annual “rollin Stonehaven 5k” will be this coming Saturday October 17, 2009 with the start and finish at the Rama Swim and Racquet Club (6109 Wheeler Dr). More than just a runners race, this Stonehaven neighborhood event is also a bike-walk-pet parade as well.

The Great Grapes! Wine, Arts and Food Festival returns to Charlotte NC’s Symphony Park at South Park this Saturday, October 3rd from 11am-7pm.
Wine and food seminars, live music, and of course wine tastings from a ton of NC vineyards will all be on display and part of the fun at Symphony Park (which is right next to South Park mall) in Charlotte this weekend.

The S&P/Case-Shiller index said Charlotte NC’s home prices rose 0.9% from April to May of 2009, so that must mean it’s time for Charlotte NC sellers to go ahead and raise those list prices, how exciting!

The annual Taste of Charlotte festival kicks off tomorrow, Friday June 5th at11am and runs through the weekend.
Taste of Charlotte takes place along Tryon St in Uptown Charlotte NC. Admission is free and coins to sample food and beverages are available in advance online or at the festival.
The festival features kids activities, live entertainment, a Marketplace and Tavern at the Taste in addition to the sampling of food from local Charlotte NC restaurants.
