Here we will highlight the local information for the Charlotte NC area.
Now that the Wachovia/Wells Fargo merger is official, it appears Wells Fargo is taking a modern approach to reaching out to Wachovia customers and the public.
There’s now a “Wells Fargo-Wachovia Blog” set up. While there’s no real new details as of yet, the blog allows public comments/questions and will apparently be used to share information as it relates to the integration.
Details and information on how this change will affect Charlotte are paramount on many... Read more →
It’s no secret that there are residents in the Charlotte NC area experiencing economic hardships right now. Some of the less publicized effects of economic hardships are how pets are being impacted.
Some of the truly innocent and silent victims of economic hardship can be the family pets. Unfortunately, in some cases Charlotte NC area families are facing the difficult decision of surrendering their animals to shelters when they’re unable to keep up with the costs of providing... Read more →

How will all of this affect Charlotte NC and real estate in Charlotte NC? I don’t have the answer - and anyone who claims to know specifics is really... Read more →

- Check your home’s air filters and replace if they’re dirty - this should be done every 2-3 months but now is a good time to check on them if you haven’t recently
- Check all exterior lights and... Read more →
Now that Citi is out of the picture, the Wachovia/Wells Fargo merger is moving forward. The Federal Reserve approved the merger last weekend.

Ok, I’ll admit that until recently I didn’t know that lawn mower blades could (or needed to be) sharpened.
My husband’s been saying for the longest time that the mower blade is dull and hasn’t been cutting
the grass as well as it used to.
So finally I contacted The Blade Doctor, which is a
local Charlotte NC business. Scott Adams is “The Blade Doctor” and the service was fantastic!!!
Packing up the mower and taking it somewhere to be sharpened seemed... Read more →
